A little background on the bands:

Sean Kershaw, a self-proclaimed army brat, has been a musician for over twenty years. Sean’s travels have taken him to Germany, New Orleans, Oklahoma and for over ten years he’s made his home in Brooklyn, NY. Sean Kershaw is well-established and well liked among the purveyors of country and honky tonk music in the New York Tri-State area as well as the East Coast of the US. Sean Kershaw and the New Jack Ramblers have created a strong grassroots following, capitalizing on the resurgence in alternative country and swing dancing in recent years. The Sean and Ramblers recently returned from a successful tour of North Carolina with culminated with an appearance at Heavy Rebel Weekender 2009 in Winston-Salem, NC. In August 2009 Sean Kershaw and the New Jack Ramblers released their debut CD "Coney Island Cowboy" on the very stage on the Coney Island Freakshow.

Mr. Kershaw has been a driving force in the music field and at the forefront of the recent resurgence in popularity of Americana music, particularly in the city of New York and the borough of Brooklyn. Mr. Kershaw was also asked to be part of the Country Music Awards show and invited to Gracie Mansion before the awards show for a meet and greet. More recently the Village Voice newspaper featured “Brooklyn Country” and not only was Sean Kershaw spoken highly of in this article he was chosen to be the face of country music in Brooklyn and his picture appeared as the cover of the edition published on May 27, 2008.

A few words about Sean Kershaw….

"Sean Kershaw slinks his strings and vocal chords in such a way that "ladies" in New York clubs go crazy!"
- Metromix NY

“Honky Tonk Brooklyn-style from Sean Kershaw is just what this genre needs. Put on your cowboy boots (or take them off) for our favorite love song “Moonlight Eyes”.

Pine Creek:

Pine Creek’s musicians come from origins as diverse as the Piedmont area of North Carolina, New York City, New Jersey, New Brunswick (Canada), and Eastern Connecticut, but they all found themselves living in Eastern Connecticut when they met and decided to create a bluegrass band. Pine Creek brings a new sound to classic bluegrass songs, and will surprise you with bluegrassy versions of songs not normally associated with bluegrass music.
