Friends,
The Jam Board has been a part of the Northeast swing scene since 2001. Since that time it has connected, informed and helped dancers old and new find out what's going on in the scene. The Jam Board was created in a time before social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Google Buzz had become the primary method of communication among friends and communities. Since the rise of these sites we've seen a steady and predictable decline in the board viewership and membership and we believe it's now time to close the doors on this forum and let these more capable media handle the task of linking the dance community together. The Jam Board will be permanently disabled on June 15th, 2010.

The rest of Swingmonkey.com, the news and calendar sections, will remain active, updated, and available. Only The Jam Board will be closing.

It has been our pleasure to bring this resource to you for the past 9 years. We look forward to the future of Swingmonkey as a resource in the dance community. We're always looking for enthusiastic people to join our team, so if you'd like to be involved with Swingmonkey as we look towards the future of Lindy hop resources on the web, contact us using this form.
