The original form of swing dance was created in the 1920’s and 1930’s in Harlem. Danced to the jazz music of the time, the style evolved from tap, breakaway, and Charleston. After experiencing a revival in the 80s and 90s, Lindy Hop is now danced and performed around the world by people of all ages.
